But I truly enjoyed knowing more about Michelle. You do get a sense of who she is and where she comes from. I also loved how she shed light on race issues. I learnt a lot from her experience and the stories she shared.

I highly recommend the audio which is narrated by Michelle. It definitely turns Becoming into a more captivating and compelling story. I think my only problem with this (I was expecting it, tbh) is her portrayal of the Obama presidency. In her words, it was simply perfect. No mistakes were made. I know she wasn’t going to negatively criticize her own husband but I don’t know any perfect presidents. So, in my opinion, she could have maybe set his presidency aside…? Becoming is her memoir, after all.
